Wok On the Wild Side in East Granby

Overall a solid place for some Chinese food. The meals are nothing flashy, but their food is consistent and good for the price. General tso's chicken with pork fried rice is a favorite of mine.

Really good if you like cheap Chinese. Boneless ribs and beef teriyaki are great. Usually not busy, so service is brisk.

Good hot food. Tends to be over cooked sometimes. Friendly staff. Wonton soup is the Chinese penicillin for our family, does the job of killing a cold in its tracks, love it!!

My first visit was a pleasant one, and with a warm welcome. The chicken fried rice that I ordered was ok, BUT I think the rice was a little over cooked!!

This is the 3rd time I've come for lunch, the food is good, and fast service. But apparently the adult female who is usually there, has a problem with giving you tea, and water, and the duck sauce in a bowl.Each time has given significant attitude. Today, after asking twice for a water, I still never got one. The duck sauce, they want to give the packets. Im in a restaurant, I don't want to open little sticky packets!! For the tea, she was angry I asked for sugar last time, so I got it myself today. My food was served, and she talked on the phone in a booth for half of my meal, loudly talking in her language. I was a waitress for years, and was not rude at all. Even as she asked what I wanted to order, she walked away while I tried to tell her, having her back to me . Food was at the table when I returned from the bathroom, but there was no check in after the food wad delivered.Worst part....she sucked in her shots, and spit them out into the trashcan in the kitchen. DISGUSTING!!

i bought general chicken but when i did i specifically asked if they make it spicy because some places make it sweet she said it is spicy. i ordered , picked up came to eat it and it was the sweetest chicken i ever had. i called her and told her that it was very sweet and she told me shed give me hot sauce to make it spicy mind you i already dumped 4 packs of sauce on it. i asked for a refund because i did not eat anything but one chicken she said no we dont do refunds she wasnt even willing to replace the meal. horrible never going back again.

I really like Wok on the Wild Side. Good Chinese food fast. They are better suited for take out but they do have a few tables for sit down.

I love this place. You will never see the light yellow color of fried rice like theirs. General Tso’s chicken is the best. Sweet and spicy. The eggs rolls were great too. Owners were friendly too. They also have the best crab Rangoon, and the place is so clean.

I stopped for lunch, food was very good and prices are reasonable. I'll come back.

Cheap quick service

So, the rice they call fried and hardly that, and apparently they do not understand a simple request such as no vegetables in the fried rice.1st and last time for me.

Food is always good. The teen at the counter is not friendly and rushes you out of there. Lousy table service. The kitchen staff is nice. They will cook to order.

This is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in the state of CT. It’s a small place, so it’s not the most comfortable as far as dining in.... but the food is just too good. I’ve recommended it to a few people, and they all agree. Definitely check it out. It’s in a small plaza on the back side of the Airport in East Granby. route 20, I believe?

Food was better than any Chinese takeout place I've been to. They have a moody tween at the register but the mom is nice and the food is well worth it.

I walked in at 9 p.m. they're open till 10 p.m. I got unhappy looks as they were already scrubbing and cleaning the kitchen getting ready to leave for the night. If you want to leave at 9:30 close your business at 9, don't stay open till 10. The food was really quite average. The chicken fried rice was very plain. The only thing they put in it were onions maybe three little pieces of green onions and the amount of chicken was minimal. There was no seasoning, nothing! I had to doctor it up when I got home and I also got some pork lo-mein and it was salty, flavourless and hardly any meat. The only thing good was the half cooked egg roll. They had my food ready in 5 min. 😣 If you don't love what you do, it shows in your food. Unfortunately, I won't be going back. On a positive note; the restaurant was so clean I could have eaten off the floor.

I remember years ago their food used to be good and now as of 2019 its not the same its always so sugary or dipped in so much sauce I think the last time I ate I didn't feel good and honestly talking to the people that work their they sound like robots or just as if they dont care

Great Food Spot..

Good location on state route 20 near Bradley airport with plenty of parking including handicapped spaces an handicap entrance. Its set back from the road so its a little hard to notice. The inside space is cozy, comfy and quiet; good for groups or for dining alone. Male and female restrooms available. I was a little disappointed in the food but customer service was great.

Shame this place used to be very good back then I sense a change in quality of food or something it is different not the way it used to be

Excellent service, to-go order has always been correct.We have been here many times and have never had a problem.Update - We went to the WOK last Friday and the service was very sloooooow.I understand that a lot of their business is take-out but you need to provide service to your in house customers.

Typical Chinese Takeout, Nothing Special

Great crab rangoons, general tso good, egg rolls ok but nothing to jump up and down about. kung pao was awful, 2 bites and left the rest behind

Good choices for combination platters and I love their chicken and broccoli too, just make sure if you get the boneless ribs you ask them not to burn them or they will most likely be overcooked.
